What Readers Say

Benefiel has written a great first book in her new series. The suspense was good with plenty of action. The romance was well done with plenty of realistic conflict between the characters. I’m looking forward to the next in the series.

Love, love, love this book! The smoking hot tension between Shane and Emery is pure FUN, and the intrigue element brings in just the right amount of suspense. I loved Walker and Delaney from the first book of the series and was happy to see them in Honest Secrets. (It’s like checking in with friends.) Will Sawyer and Cam’s story be next? Sawyer’s my favorite so I hope so!

## Fantastic read. I have not read the others in the series, so it stands alone just fine. There are of course references to other couples, but very easy to follow. I loved both hero and heroine, and their connection felt deep. I will definitely read again.

I was so looking forward to reading Owen and Keeley’s story, knowing Owen secretly carried a torch for her. Protector-to-lovers is one of my top tropes and guarded secrets delivers. I love the realiness and complexity of their problems, which only brings them closer together. Their banter is witty and sexy, for the girl who is pure sunshine against a grumpy bar owner. Small town, sparks flying, suspense and danger lurking at every corner. what more can you ask for? An absolute must read!
